At St Botolphs Church

Small but necessary project required for a church.

Just the fact that this is an ancient church, and therefore listed building, meant we had to avoid any option of designing this facility into or attached to the church. The only alternative was the insertion of an outbuilding, which respects in every aspect the importance of the adjacent building and the natural surrounding area.

The fact that the outbuilding can be easily seen and is of a very simple design, meant that it is not detrimental to the aesthetics of the magnificent church, one of the oldest in England. This project was carried out following the advice from both the Conservation Officer and Heritage Foundation.
